Discover the ‘Green Phare’ project: the residents of this building near the museum decided together to create a green buffer around their building, benefiting local residents and passers-by alike. The native plants offer peace and refreshment, the roofs capture rainwater and the vegetated facades provide cooling in dry periods.
Exploratory walk.
In the heart of the Brussels Pentagon, 93% of the surface is sealed. What impact does this have on the quality of life and the water cycle in the capital, and what is being done to try and stop it?
Take a walk around the Musée des Égouts with the Zenne Coordination team to discuss the issue and find out what solutions have been put in place in the district.

Family Sunday - Entrance

Every 3rd Sunday of the month, the museum offers families a day full of activities.
Bring the whole family and discover a natural phenomenon very familiar to Belgians: rain! Together, we'll answer questions such as: How much water do clouds pour down when it rains? Where do the drops that fall from the sky come from, and where do they go when they hit the ground? Don't you think the answers are obvious? Playful, interactive devices will help you answer them. In Brussels, rainwater often ends up in the sewer, even though it's such a precious resource. Dive into this fascinating subject together.
